At Common Ground, we host experiences, collaborations, and creative work that invite people to connect—with each other, with culture, and with the natural world.
Common Ground International is a small group of artists, we are family and friends, who got together to create a business and ethos.
Our mission. To bring peace and healing to one another and the earth through music, the arts, the sharing of tea and our lives. We believe each encounter in community and collaboration is divinely inspired and will bear fruit for one another and our world.
Our Businesses include:

Community Recordings, an independent record label offering audio & visual services, consulting, and live music performances and community gatherings.

Heritage Wear Collection & Other Curations
Original Artworks
We envision a peaceful world, a home for all, built on respect for Earth and every living thing. Guided by the wisdom of indigenous cultures, we seek a path to harmony.
OUR ETHOS: We believe in the oneness of all humanity and the acceptance of everyone. We are all one. No one is above and no one is below. We are thankful for all indigenous cultures who lived in harmony and balance with the earth and one another, and showed us a way forward. We respect their ways, and we learn from their ways, as we give homage to all our ancestors.
This is our call: find a way. A way to live in balance with nature and each other. A place where everyone can create and live in harmony.
Who is Common Ground and What is their story?
Common Ground was founded by, Nathaniel Vinson, and Nicolas Balachandran, in partnership with Caleb Vinson & Michele Vinson.
The greatness of synergy lies in the coming together and is always a result of each of the individual parts forming an entity greater than themselves. Divinity works in each of us and the timing of the Universe is precise in its formations. Our story is the result of the Universe working in us and through us as we all followed in the Way. And it brought us together.
Common Ground, was a long time dream of Nathaniel’s, since 1975. It was formed in his heart when in NYC he met Rolando Reyes, a small proprietor, who married the Native American and African cultures in his shop on Greenwich Street. Nathaniel’s dream was to embrace all cultures, all human beings. Our commonality is simply being human here on earth.
In 2017, Nathaniel approached Nicolas at a live music gathering and a friendship was conceived. Souls were united. The unctioning of Spirit gestated. And Nicolas felt the Common Ground calling and alignment.
And it was in 2025 that dreams and purpose were fulfilled as Common Ground International was birthed.
